They're probably not possible but still...

And if it isn't possible, does anyone knows of some kind of plugin for Gimp or something that automates the creation of a spinning animation out of an image?

My computer got fried in a lightning storm and I lost my CAD skins (along with a lot of other stuff when we did a system recovery). I had a skin that I really liked but can't seem to find it again. The name of it was something like Magic something or other. Sorry I can't remember it. It had a thick bar that could be resized according to your screen resolution, and the bar displayed the song title and artist and the time. The album art display was just a simple box which could be sized small or large. I really liked that skin. I used it all the time because it was so easy to read the title and artist. I wish I could get it back! Please help!

I really want to finish a skin for CAD but I can't because my titles (band name, song name, album, time, etc.) just disappear for no reason whatsoever when I initiate CAD!

After that, if I just turn the text off and on again the titles show up just fine, and then when I close the skin editing window they disappear again!

And apart from that the titles don't update either, they just continue showing the same song or band if I play anything else (although that could be because I have the CAD skin editing window open).

I have the latest CAD 3 beta but this also happens in CAD 2.

First of all, thanks for such a great app :)

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 x64 and i have some bugs with CAD and iTunes...

If i start CAD in not Administrator mode, it launches good but many skins don't display song or artist info at all.

I found a way to temporarily fix this : I go in the Skin Editor, I check "Draw Guide Lines", the guide lines AND the song info text appear. Then i uncheck "Draw Guide Lines" and the text stays.

But if i change the skin or if i close CAD, the text disappears again...

If i try to launch CAD as Administrator, it just doesn't work at all (it says "This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy. Choose "switch to" to activate the busy application and correct the problem" but that doesn't do anything).


These issues exist with the stable 2.0.1 AND the 3.0 beta releases of CAD.

What can i do ? (or something similar, but the numbers are correct):(

Anyway around this? I'm running Windows 7 Home Prem. 32-bit, genuine, with a AMD Athlon x2 2.1Ghz processor and 3GB RAM.
